Our Clients > Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get into one of your programs?

Referrals to Paradigm and Perspectives must be made by the supervising Probation/Youth officer. We do not accept self-referrals.

Referrals to our Fee for Service program are made through our head office. A simple phone call with some identifying information and we will provide you with an intake appointment.

Is there a cost to participate in a program?

There is no cost to participate in our services that are funded by the Ontario Government. Our Fee for Service program operates on a sliding scale according to ability to pay. Please speak with our administrative staff about your options.

Is this service confidential?

We make our clients aware of our confidentiality and exchange of information policies during the first session. For all of our programs, we are obligated both legally and professionally to report abuse or any kind as well as criminal activity. Our government funded programs have contracts which identify which information will be shared with your probation officer.

I need a letter for court; can you provide me with one?

Depending on the program that you are enrolled or attended, we are sometimes not able to provide clients with letters for court in accordance with the terms of our contracts. All other information gathered during the program or produced as part of the program is the property of the referring probation officer and therefore we are unable to provide it to our clients. We suggest speaking with your Probation/Youth officer.

All documentation for our Fee for Service programs is subject to a service charge. Please refer to our fee schedule.
